How can we help?

Quick answers for alarms, medicines, money, voices and backup.

Alarm not ringing?

Most phones try to save battery by stopping apps in the background. Open Dayrelio → More → Alarm check and make sure all four checks are green:

  1. Notifications — allowed for Dayrelio.
  2. Alarms & reminders — allowed, so alarms ring exactly on time.
  3. Full-screen alerts — allowed, so the medicine alarm shows on the lock screen.
  4. Battery optimization — set Dayrelio to “Don't optimize” or “Unrestricted”.

Then tap Send test alarm to check it rings.

Phone brand tips

Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO

Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Dayrelio → turn on Autostart, and set Battery saver to No restrictions.

Samsung

Settings → Apps → Dayrelio → Battery → Unrestricted. Also remove Dayrelio from “Sleeping apps” in Battery → Background usage limits.

Oppo / Realme / OnePlus

Settings → Apps → Dayrelio → Battery usage → allow background activity and auto launch.

Vivo / iQOO

Settings → Battery → Background power consumption → allow Dayrelio. Also turn on Autostart in i Manager / App manager.

Huawei / Honor

Settings → Battery → App launch → Dayrelio → Manage manually and turn on all three switches.

Menu names differ slightly between phone models and Android versions.

Medicines

How do I add a medicine?

Open Medicines → + Add medicine. Enter the name, a dose note, the times and days. Keep “Full-screen alarm” on.

What do Taken and Snooze do?

Taken marks the dose as taken for today. Snooze rings again in 10 minutes. Pressing a volume button stops the sound.

How many medicines can I add for free?

Up to 5 medicines on the free plan. Plus gives unlimited medicines with photos and refill reminders.

Money & Khata

Which currency does Dayrelio use?

The currency of the country you chose. Change it in More → Language & country.

What is Khata?

A simple ledger for money you give to and get from people. Each person shows a running balance, and you can share an entry on WhatsApp.

Voices and your own keys

Dayrelio reads news and reminders with your phone's free voice — no key and no cost. If you want a more natural premium voice, you can connect your own account with a voice provider. You pay the provider directly, and your key is stored only on your phone.

Open More → Voice, choose a provider, paste your key and tap Test key.

Microsoft Azure Speech

  1. Sign in at portal.azure.com and create a Speech resource (the free F0 tier is available).
  2. Open the resource → Keys and Endpoint. Copy Key 1 and the Region (for example eastus).
  3. In Dayrelio, paste the key and region, then tap Test key.

Google Cloud Text-to-Speech

  1. Open console.cloud.google.com, create a project and enable the Cloud Text-to-Speech API.
  2. Go to APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → API key. Restrict the key to the Text-to-Speech API.
  3. Paste the key in Dayrelio and tap Test key.

ElevenLabs

  1. Sign in at elevenlabs.io.
  2. Open your profile → API keys → create a key.
  3. Paste the key in Dayrelio and tap Test key.

Free limits and prices are set by each provider and can change. Check their website for current details.

Backup & restore

Your data is stored on your phone. To keep it safe, open More → Backup & restore → Create backup file and save the file to Google Drive, email or WhatsApp. On a new phone, install Dayrelio and choose Restore from file.

Plus & billing

How do I cancel Plus?

Open the Play Store app → profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Dayrelio → Cancel.

I changed phones. How do I get Plus back?

Sign in with the same Google account and tap Restore purchase on the Plus screen.
