This policy explains how the Dayrelio Android app (“Dayrelio”, “we”, “us”) and the website dayrelio.com handle information.
Information stored on your phone
Everything you enter in Dayrelio is saved in the app's private storage on your device, including:
- Your chosen country, language and optional name or nickname.
- Medicines, doses, times, and whether a dose was taken.
- Water, reminders, meetings and daily routine tasks.
- Expenses, budget and Khata (ledger) entries, including the names and phone numbers you choose to add.
- Settings such as alarm sound, app lock and voice preferences, and any voice-provider API key you add.
This information is not sent to us. It is removed when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data, or uninstall Dayrelio. Android's automatic cloud backup is turned off for Dayrelio; you can make your own backup file, which is saved wherever you choose.
When Dayrelio uses the internet
- News: Dayrelio downloads public news headlines for your country and language from news feeds. Like any web request, the news service receives your device's IP address and basic request information. We do not send your personal data with these requests.
- Premium voices (optional): if you add your own key for a voice provider such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or ElevenLabs, the text to be spoken (for example a news headline or reminder) is sent directly from your phone to that provider using your key. That provider's privacy policy applies. If you use the phone's built-in voice, nothing is sent.
- Sharing: when you tap share (for example to send a Khata entry or doctor report on WhatsApp), the content goes to the app you choose.
Purchases
Dayrelio Plus is sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment; we never receive your card details. We receive only the information needed to confirm your subscription status. Google's privacy policy applies to payments.
Permissions
- Notifications, alarms and full-screen alerts — to ring medicine and reminder alarms on time, including on the lock screen.
- Run at startup — to restore your alarms after the phone restarts.
- Internet — for news and optional premium voices.
- Biometrics (if you turn on app lock) — handled by Android; Dayrelio never receives your fingerprint.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information. Dayrelio contains no advertising and no third-party advertising or tracking libraries.
Security
Your data stays inside Dayrelio's private app storage, protected by Android's app sandbox. You can add a passcode or fingerprint lock. Please keep your phone itself protected with a screen lock.
Your choices
You control your data: edit or delete any item in the app, or delete all data. See how to delete your data. Because we do not hold your data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete or export on our side; if you email us, we will delete your email correspondence on request.
Children
Dayrelio is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Health information
Dayrelio helps you remember and record your own information. It does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always follow your doctor's advice.
Changes to this policy
If we add features that change how data is handled (for example optional cloud backup), we will update this policy and the date above, and tell you in the app before the feature is used.
